University assignment (July, 2015). Hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world by Haruki Murakami. One of my favourite books.
The challenge set by my professor was to choose only two color for the book cover. I decided to use C:0 M:86 Y:54 K:0 and C:73 M:0 Y:22 K:0, and by overlaying them I created a third color (not against the rules!)
The entire book is around 400 pages long so two books weren't actually necessary,
but since part of the assignment rules was to design a two book set I decided to split them.
The book’s name isn’t explicitly written on the cover, but expressed in binary on the back cover.
As well as the author’s name. Binary code is a thing inside the story.
